Stick a lump of blood - If we continue to learn the facts reported in the Qur'an about the formation of man, once again we will find a very significant scientific miracle.
When the sperm of men joined the woman's eggs, the essence of the baby to be born is formed. Single cell, known as the "zygote" in biology will soon multiply by splitting until it became a "piece of meat". Of course this can only be seen by humans with the aid of a microscope.
However, do not miss the zygote stage of growth for granted. He was attached to the uterine wall as the roots digging into the earth firm with branches. Through these relationships, the zygote is able to get vital substances from the body of the mother for its growth.
Here, in this section, an important miracle of the Quran was revealed. When referring to the zygote that is growing in the womb, God uses the word "alaq" in the Qur'an.
"Read the (call) the name of your Lord, the Creator, He has created man from 'alaq (blood clot). Read and your Lord is the Most Generous." (Surah Al-Alaq: 1-3).
Meaning of the word "alaq" in Arabic is "something that sticks in one place". This word is used literally to describe leeches that cling to the body to suck blood.
Certainly not a coincidence that such a right word to use for growing zygote in the womb. This once again proves that the Qur'an is a revelation from God, the Lord of Hosts.
